Roberta ("Ellie") Parton |
Ellie is a dedicated hard-working student who strives for excellence. She is self motivated and constantly challenges herself in her academic studies. This hard work has paid off as she is now one of our top academic students.
As a student she is an active participant in all classroom activities and contributes to the culture of the class. Ellie is a bright young lady who always conducts herself in a mature responsible manner. Her interactions with other students and staff have always been positive.
Ellie displays maturity well beyond her years. As a young parent she is able to manage her time so effectively and efficiently that neither her schooling nor her family is compromised. Once she sets her goals, she works extremely hard to achieve them.
Ellie has a great future ahead of her. She has the drive and determination to achieve whatever she wishes. There is no doubt in my mind that, given her current attitude and desire to learn, she will be successful at the next level.
I give Ellie my highest recommendation without reservation.

In Her Own Words
I am choosing to go into the sciences because that is where my passion lies. I am absolutely committed to the completion of my program.
I have a firm and genuine source of motivation. As a young aboriginal mother I wish to overcome the stigma that is often associated with being a young single parent.
The aims of my objectives are very important to my belief system and strongly fuel my flame of motivation. I have realized that an education is the single most important factor in ensuring my ability to provide my daughter with a sustainable lifestyle.
I have also realized what a joy school could be. I am ecstatic to begin my university career as it is bringing me that much closer to my destiny. It will be a long and hard road but ultimately worth it.
I am fully prepared to put in the hard work and effort that will be necessary to achieve my goals. I pride myself in my excellent time management and planning ability. Using these skills and excellent study strategies I have no doubts for my future success. I am very driven and will not quit in my pursuit of a higher education.
